Computer Education and Instructional Technologies

The Computer Education and Instructional Technologies Program aims to develop, disseminate and teach the methods and techniques necessary for the functional use of computers and other instructional technology products needed in educational institutions as well as training its students in accordance with the requirements of the teaching profession. Within the program, which has gained more importance with the development of multimedia and web technologies, courses are given on the effective use of new information and communication technologies in educational environments besides mathematics and science courses.
The graduates of the program have employment opportunities in a variety of fields. While most of the graduates work as computer teachers or instructional technologists in secondary schools, they can also be employed in other fields such as web design, production of instructional materials, instructional technologies expertise, and information and communication technologies courses.
